Connections

Multiple Accounts per Service

Connect more than one account for the same integration and choose which to use per block.

You can connect more than one account for the same service. Link two Gmail inboxes, a personal and a team Slack, or several GitHub accounts — then pick which connection each block uses.

Why it matters

A single integration often spans multiple accounts:

  • Send from a support inbox in one workflow and a sales inbox in another
  • Read from a personal GitHub but write to an org GitHub
  • Post to different Slack workspaces from the same workflow

Without multi-account connections you'd have to disconnect and reconnect each time.

Connecting another account

When you connect a service that you've already linked, MyBotBox adds the new account alongside the existing one rather than replacing it. Each connection is stored separately and labeled so you can tell them apart.

Connections are credentials — they're stored securely and referenced by your blocks, not copied into them. Rotating or removing a connection updates every block that uses it.

Choosing an account in a block

On any block that uses a connected service, the credential selector lists every account you've linked for that service. Pick the one this block should act as. Different blocks in the same workflow can use different accounts.

Removing an account

Remove a connection from your account settings. Any block still pointing at it will need a different connection selected before the workflow can run.
